About

Central Venues is an enterprise operated by Central, a church based in Edinburgh. We have a vision to share our facilities at Central Hall as a hireable conference, meeting and event space, emphasising a relational service ensuring the experience for both manager and delegate is memorable and successful every time.

Situated in the heart of Scotland’s innovative and award winning capital city, Central Hall is an exceptional venue readily available for conferences, concerts and functions, with meeting rooms, halls and impressive Auditorium to suit.

Central Hall

Central Hall blends into the famous Tollcross high street yet stands out as a fine piece of architecture built by the Methodist Church back in 1901.

The 850 capacity Auditorium is no doubt the highlight of the space with breakout rooms to suit a whole variety of events. With recent refurbishment in 2012 the Auditorium is now a flexible open space that boasts real promise for highly successful functions and productions from sit down concerts to banquet dining.

Who are Central?

Formerly Morningside Baptist Church, Central moved from Morningside to Central Hall in Tollcross in June 2011. Central runs its office, training & leadership programmes, apprenticeships, and weekly gatherings from Central Hall together with working alongside a number of organisations, communities and people groups in and around Edinburgh.

All income raised through Central Venues is put back into the upkeep and development of Central Hall with surplus used to further the vision and mission of Central. For more information visit centralchurch.co.uk.
